SPECS Surface Nano Analysis GmbH and Unisoku Co., Ltd. will setup joined Sales and Service Centers in China and USA

Endeavor to improve customer reliance and satisfaction by quick local service.

The companies SPECS Surface Nano Analysis GmbH - a major supplier of surface analysis instrumentation from Germany - and Unisoku Co., Ltd - a subsidiary of Tokyo Instruments Inc. and major supplier of Scanning Probe Microscopy Instrumentation from Japan – are successfully collaborating in the field of low temperature SPM, namely the Joule Thompson Scanning Probe Microscope (JT-SPM) Technology.

The excellent representation of SPECS in Japan by Tokyo Instruments Inc. has been the first joint market activity of both companies. Both companies have now decided to take this collaboration as a blueprint for future joint activities in two of our largest markets: China and USA.

In USA a new joint sales and service center will be formed, with more qualified sales and service people involved, originating from the former SPECS Surface Nano Analysis Inc., located in Mansfield, MA. Dr. Ferdinand Bartels, CEO of SPECS: “In this way both companies can be closer to our customers. Faster response times and improved local service coverage is our primary goal!”

In China the activities of the two branch companies Unisoku-TII Instruments (Beijing) Co., Ltd. and Beijing SPECS Surface Nano Analysis Technology Ltd. will join forces with more than ten qualified sales and service people located in Beijing and Shanghai. Shoji Suruga, President and CEO of Unisoku Co. , Ltd.: "China is for both companies one of the most important markets today and in the future. The actual joint installed base of more than 80 research systems and a multitude of components is already significant and continues to grow fast. An excellent local service will keep these instruments productive for many years. Both companies have already established two excellent local teams over the last years in China. Joining their forces will further improve the effectivity and the responsiveness towards our customers.”
