The Aarhus SPM Series

With the highly robust STM Aarhus 150 reflecting the very successful scanning tunneling microscopy (STM) developments with the University of Aarhus, SPECS further developed this proven concept throughout their collaboration together. From the STM Aarhus 150 to the SPM Aarhus 150 , SPECS offers several highly sophisticated options within the Aarhus SPM series:

  • STM Aarhus 150 Rel.2
    Expanding the proven concept of the STM 150 Aarhus edition with permanent cooling and modified suspension system.

  • STM Aarhus 150 HT
    Dedicated high temperature version allowing to image metals and semiconductors at elevated temperatures above 1000C

    As a standard for all STM Aarhus 150 systems, SPECS introduces the SPC 260, a dedicated control system with USB connection for video rate imaging.

  • SPM Aarhus 150
    Extension for imaging insulating surfaces by non-contact atomic force microscopy (NC-AFM) with a quartz KolibriSensor

  • Nanonis Control Systems
    Strongest emphasis on usability, stability and flexibility in SPM control systems
