Product Description:
The new toroidal mirror monochromator TMM 302 has an increased transmission due to the design consisting of the toroidal mirror in combination with a plane grating and a plane mirror. This achieves a 1:1 stigmatic image of the entrance aperture to the exit aperture for spectral lines between 30nm and 240nm. This optical imaging condition compensates for the astigmatism which is usually present in a standard toroidal grating monochromator (TGM) configuration. This superior design provides high transmission in combination of the advantage of supplying a polarized light source with a degree of polarization of 90%.
The TMM 302 is especially designed to give best perfomance when used in combination with the SPECS High Density Plasma UV Lamp UVS 300.
